Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Sheffield is seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer to service and repair our industrial equipment across the South Yorkshire region. You will install, commission and train customers on our marking and coding systems, ensuring high uptime and accurate data.

The ideal candidate has strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills, a full UK driving license, and the ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Certifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, Commission, Service and Repair equipment.
• Deliver training to customers where needed.
• Complete service reports with time, parts, and fault codes.
• Promote service products and maintain customer relationships.
• Travel to customer sites within your regional area and nationally for training.
