Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Technical Service Engineer for field-based work around the South Yorkshire region, with a focus on servicing marking and coding equipment. You will install, commission and repair equipment and travel locally to customer sites in a highly professional environment.

The role requires hands-on Electrical/Mechanical troubleshooting, a full UK driving license, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer or Technical Service Engineer in the industrial or manufacturing sectors, with a strong focus on Electrical/Mechanical technical troubleshooting.
• Full UK Driving License.
• Proven ability to assess technical situations, diagnose issues, and provide proactive, effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and repair equipment at customer sites.
• Provide training to customers and internal staff as needed.
• Complete accurate service reports with time, parts, and fault/solution codes.
