Job summary

ICE is looking for a Field Service Engineer to diagnose, service and repair a range of industrial cleaning equipment across customer sites in the UK. You will travel to sites, perform maintenance, and ensure repairs meet agreed service levels while documenting activities in the SSP system.

The role requires a mechanical/engineering background, driving licence, and strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
• Certifications in industrial equipment repair are advantageous.
• Full UK manual driving licence essential.
• Experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing industrial cleaning equipment.
• Strong ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support to customers through courteous, knowledgeable communication.
• Ensure all jobs are attended and repairs completed within the contracted service level agreement.
• Attend and complete scheduled maintenance and PA Test calls.
• Update all jobs in real time on the central database SERVICESMARTPro (SSP).
• Order parts to complete breakdowns and manage van stock levels.
• Promote high standards of service and safety at all times.
