Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair a variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipment across Norfolk and Suffolk. The role includes training and certification opportunities, with a company van and tools provided to support day-to-day work.

You will work on planned and unplanned maintenance, developing skills in hydraulics and electrical systems as you progress, with strong on-site support from experienced engineers and management.

Qualifications

• Qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar.
• Comfortable using various hand tools.
• Experience in repairing, maintaining or servicing mechanical equipment.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned and unplanned service and breakdown repairs to customer fleets.
• Repair and service a wide range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment.
• Work across Norfolk and Suffolk with full training provided as needed.

Field Service Engineer – Nationwide Service Provider – Norfolk / Suffolk – Salary: £29,120 - £31,200 + door to door + overtime = £40k - £45k + Company Van + Tools + Workwear + Training

On joining this business you will be trained on how to repair and service a wide range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment including load lifters, steps, cranes, ramps, winches and moving decks and in turn gain a recognised industry certification.

As Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair to customers vehicle fleets throughout Norfolk and Suffolk and further afield when required.

You will ideally be qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar; be comfortable using various hand tools and have some experience in repairing, maintaining or servicing mechanical equipment. Any prior knowledge or experience of hydraulics and basic fault finding on 12 & 24 volt electrics would be beneficial although full training will be provided.

Previous experience of working on heavy vehicle plant / machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, compactors, bailers, road sweepers, telehandlers or similar equipment is a distinct advantage, though not essential.
