Coalesce Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a nationwide service provider covering Norfolk and Suffolk. You will service and repair a range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment, with a salary of £29,120–£31,200 plus door-to-door pay and overtime, potentially £40k–£45k with a company van, tools, workwear and training.

The role involves planned and unplanned service visits to fleet vehicles, on-going training to gain industry certification, and a supportive team

Qualifikationen

• Qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar.
• Comfortable using various hand tools and have some experience in repairing, maintaining or servicing mechanical equipment.
• Hydraulics knowledge and basic fault finding on 12 & 24 volt electrics would be beneficial with full training provided.

On joining this business you will be trained on how to repair and service a wide range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment including load lifters, steps, cranes, ramps, winches and moving decks and in turn gain a recognised industry certification.

As Field Service Engineer you will carry out both planned and unplanned service and breakdown repair to customers vehicle fleets throughout Norfolk and Suffolk and further afield when required.

You will ideally be qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar; be comfortable using various hand tools and have some experience in repairing, maintaining or servicing mechanical equipment. Any prior knowledge or experience of hydraulics and basic fault finding on 12 & 24 volt electrics would be beneficial although full training will be provided.

Previous experience of working on heavy vehicle plant / machinery, forklift trucks, agricultural machinery, compactors, bailers, road sweepers, telehandlers or similar equipment is a distinct advantage, though not essential.
