Job summary

Consult2Recruit is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands region. The role involves door-to-door service, maintenance and repair of heavy construction plant, with a focus on diagnostics and fault-finding on excavators and loading shovels.

You will work independently at customer sites, deliver high levels of customer service, and complete service reports. A company van and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working on construction plant machinery.
• Diagnostic software experience is essential.
• NVQ or equivalent in Plant Mechanics is desirable.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving licence and field-based work ability.

Responsibilities

• Door-to-door service, maintenance and repair of heavy construction plant.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on excavators and loading shovels.
• Work independently at customer sites and provide technical support.
• Complete service documentation and reports.
