Job summary
Interaction Technical, in partnership with a leading materials handling company, is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service forklifts and material handling equipment across the Grantham area.
You will work from home and visit customer sites to carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs, with ongoing manufacturer training and clear progression opportunities.
This permanent, full-time role offers a company van, overtime, and a supportive team focused on long-term career development.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Good hydraulic and electrical diagnostic ability.
- Experience working on engines and mobile machinery.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
- Attend breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections.
- Carry out repairs on diesel, LPG, petrol and electric-powered equipment.
- Complete service documentation and engineer reports accurately.
- Manage your own workload and territory effectively.
- Build positive relationships with customers on-site.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment across your allocated region.
Working from home, you'll attend customer sites to carry out servicing, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs while delivering excellent customer service.
