Interaction Technical are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to cover Croydon and surrounding areas. You will service and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment, carry out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs at customer sites.

Training is provided with ongoing manufacturer-led and industry-recognised courses, plus clear progression routes. Overtime opportunities boost earnings and long-term career stability within a growing national business.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Good hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• Experience working on engines and mobile machinery.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Repairing engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components
• Recording all work completed via engineer reports
• Managing your workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (42.5 Hour Week)

Based on a £42,000 Basic Salary

Total Earnings: £49,400+

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will work from home attending customer sites throughout your designated territory, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Repairing (Diesel, Petrol, LPG, Electric) engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components
• Recording all work completed via engineer reports
• Managing your workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
