Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Forklifts to cover Woking and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment across your designated territory, focusing on reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks.
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Repairing engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components.
• Recording all work completed via engineer reports.
• Managing workload efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 Basic Salary (OTE - £50,000+)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (42.5 Hour Week)

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will work from home attending customer sites throughout your designated territory, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Repairing (Diesel, Petrol, LPG, Electric) engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components
• Recording all work completed via engineer reports
• Managing your workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
