Interaction Technical is partnering with a well-established materials handling company to recruit a Field Service Engineer covering Woking and the surrounding areas.
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll service and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment across your allocated region, with home-based work and regular overtime in a supportive, training-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing mobile equipment or vehicles.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills and diagnostic ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment
- Diagnose electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
- Attend breakdowns and perform emergency repairs
- Complete planned preventative maintenance inspections
- Build relationships with customers on-site

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 Basic + Overtime (OTE £50,000 - £60,000+)
Benefits: Company Van | Fuel Card | Paid Door-to-Door Travel | Manufacturer Training
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (42.5 Hours)
Contract: Permanent

In addition to your basic salary, regular overtime is available throughout the year.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment across your allocated region.
Working from home, you'll attend customer sites to carry out servicing, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and breakdown repairs while delivering excellent customer service.
- Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
- Attend breakdowns and perform emergency repairs
- Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) inspections
- Carry out repairs on diesel, LPG, petrol and electric-powered equipment
- Complete service documentation and engineer reports accurately
- Manage your own workload and territory effectively
- Build positive relationships with customers on-site
