Job summary

Dawsongroup Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to diagnose, service and repair forklift trucks across South East London and Essex. You will work on customer sites and company locations, delivering reliable service with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will hold a full UK driving licence and have solid mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment, with the ability to work on diesel, LPG, hydraulic and electronic systems.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Solid mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment.
• Skilled in diesel, LPG, hydraulic and electronic systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent worker with a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service and repair forklift trucks at customer and Dawsongroup locations.
• Work safely and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Complete service reports detailing repairs, parts used and time taken.
• Inspect equipment, report conditions and maintain tools, equipment and your service van.
• Build strong customer relationships while following health and safety procedures and authorised limits.
