Job summary

Dawsongroup Material Handling is seeking a Field Service Engineer to diagnose, service, and repair forklift trucks across customer locations. You will work independently, building strong customer relationships while ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.

You will handle diesel, LPG, and electronic systems, produce accurate service reports, and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Fully skilled Fork Truck Lift Fitter with experience servicing and repairing forklift trucks.
• Mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment.
• Ability to work across diesel, LPG and electronic systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full, valid UK driving licence and the ability to work independently with care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and service forklift trucks safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Work across diesel, LPG and electronic systems, using your technical knowledge to solve problems.
• Complete accurate service and maintenance reports, including parts used and time taken.
• Examine equipment and clearly report its condition to help keep customers moving.
• Represent Dawsongroup professionally while maintaining strong relationships with designated customers.
