Job summary

Locators Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain, service, and repair customers’ forklifts and related equipment on-site. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and address breakdowns promptly to minimise downtime for customers.

The role requires a full clean driving licence and the ability to manage paperwork, stay in touch with the Field Service Team Leader, and maintain a professional image while on the road. Training courses will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Sound time-served and demonstrable knowledge of transmission systems.
• In-depth knowledge of modern electronic control systems.
• Experience with electric motors (AC and DC).
• Full clean and valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repair of forklifts and equipment on-site to high standards.
• Diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and address breakdowns promptly.
• Complete paperwork with required information within timescales.
• Maintain van stock and communicate needs to Parts/Support teams.
• Update Customer Support on job completion and any future requirements.
