Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain, and repair forklift trucks and related MHE across customer sites in Reading and surrounding areas. The role offers autonomy to manage your workload and diary with strong back-office support and ongoing manufacturer training.

You will fault-find, diagnose issues, perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, and work a 40–45 hour week with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have hands on servicing or maintenance experience.
• Maintenance experience of forklift trucks or mobile plant machinery or HGVs or industrial vehicles.
• Hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulics.
• Recognised engineering qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance.
• Breakdown repairs and service on-site at customer locations.
• Organise workload and diary with minimal supervision.
• Support from back-office and ongoing manufacturer training.
