Crown Lift Trucks Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair customer forklifts at their sites across the UK. You will manage planned maintenance, monitor stock, and ensure paperwork and safety standards are met.

A company van and fuel card are provided with private use options (taxed). Essential skills include a valid UK driving licence, fault finding ability, and a strong commitment to health & safety, with a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to work and excellent

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
• Proficient in fault finding and repair.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C.
• Experience of Health & Safety requirements in workshop environments.
• Committed to ongoing personal and professional development.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Clear communication skills, both oral and written.

Aufgaben

• Carry out service and repairs on customer sites in a safe, professional and cost‑effective manner with documentation.
• Work to a planned schedule of service and maintenance at client premises; some off‑site work may occur.
• Monitor site stock and ensure sufficiency for daily fleet maintenance.
• Carry out inspections and monitor safety of repaired and maintained trucks.
• Accurately complete job sheets, timesheets and parts paperwork within timescales.
• Own and maintain equipment and tooling (van/laptop/printer) in safe condition.
