Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting are partnering with a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment to appoint a Field Service Engineer to service their client base across Blackburn, Bolton and surrounding areas.

You will service forklift trucks and related equipment, travel to customer sites, with a company van provided and overtime opportunities. The role offers a competitive salary up to £48k and a strong pension scheme.

Qualifications

Experience in the Material Handling industry preferred.
Background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles or Automotive also considered.
Based in Blackburn, Bolton or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

Servicing a client base across Blackburn & Bolton with a focus on servicing forklift trucks.
Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment.
Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites.
Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on call.
Working closely with the team leaders and service managers within the region to ensure service is carried out efficiently.
