Job summary

Alexander James Recruiting are working with a leading manufacturer of Material Handling equipment to recruit a Field Service Engineer to service their client base across Tonbridge, Maidstone and surrounding areas.

You will service forklift trucks and related equipment, attend on-site visits, and work with the regional service managers to keep downtime to a minimum. A competitive salary and benefits are on offer.

Qualifications

• Preference for experience in Material Handling industry
• Possible background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles or Automotive
• Open to recently qualified engineers seeking a long-term career

Responsibilities

• Servicing a client base across Tonbridge & Maidstone with focus on forklift trucks
• Fixing and servicing material handling equipment incl. side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment
• Ensure excellent customer service and represent the company at customer sites
• Occasionally working on-call and attending the workshop
• Collaborate with team leaders and service managers to ensure efficient service
