Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer with an ex-navy or forces background to join a leading industrial services group. You will service and maintain compressors and related equipment across sites in the North West, with full training provided and a standard Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm schedule.

Overtime boosts earnings and a company van is provided. Ideal candidates have proven service/maintenance experience, a full UK driving license, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Ex-forces background required or equivalent experience.
• Valid UK driving license essential.
• Experience with compressors, refrigeration units and associated pipework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working on compressors, pipework, driers, and refrigeration units.
• Service and maintenance works, full training given.
• Covering the North West region; door-to-door pay and field-based travel.
• Overtime paid at 1.5x; one week in seven call-out.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm (40 hours per week).
