Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for a comprehensive training program in Taunton. You will join a market-leading team, receive full training and mentoring, and work within a defined regional patch to develop specialist skills.

The role includes extensive training before field deployment, a Monday–Friday schedule (8:30–17:00), and 1 in 3 weekends with on-call duties. A company vehicle, door-to-door pay, and overtime are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based engineering or service maintenance.
• Willingness to travel regionally and cover a patch.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance across a regional patch.
• Extensive training through a specialist program before fieldwork.
• Home-based with regional responsibilities, Monday to Friday 8:30–17:00, 1 in 3 weekends on-call.
