Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and maintain compressors and refrigeration equipment across the North West region, including sites around Warrington. The role offers a clear training path with progression opportunities, a Monday–Friday schedule, and a company van to support site visits.

You should be from an ex-navy or forces background, possess a full UK driving license, and be prepared to travel across the North West with overtime opportunities

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance works; full training provided.

• Overtime paid at 1.5x; 1 week in 7 call-out.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5pm, 40 hours per week.

In this field based role, you will be covering sites around the North West of the UK and be responsible for service and maintenance of compressors and related equipment such as refrigeration, pipework, and air dryers. There will be ongoing training given on all aspects to allow you to progress to a rounded Service Engineer, with the opportunity to move into a Senior role further down the line. This is a Monday to Friday role, with overtime and on-call that can boost your earnings.

This role would suit a Service Engineer or similar with a background in any of the armed forces or navy, who wants to join an industry leader that will provide comprehensive onboarding and additional training alongside mentorship, the opportunity to progress and the ability to boost earnings with overtime.

The Role:
