Job summary

Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. in Sheffield is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join the Earth Moving After Sales team.

You will carry out servicing and repair work on earthmoving machinery at customer premises or on site, ensuring quality and timely repairs while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The role requires an apprenticeship NVQ level 3 or equivalent, good communication, and a flexible, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3.
• Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role and/or industry.
• Team player with good communication and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery at customer premises or on site.
• Diagnose faults and take appropriate corrective action.
• Return warranty and return parts cleaned and correctly labelled.
• Ensure service information is read, understood and filed.
• Work strictly in compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Escalate issues regarding damaged company equipment when needed.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety requirements.
• Coordinate with depot support and assist others as required.
• Ensure administration and paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with customers to understand needs and deliver a flexible service.
• Leave repair sites clean and in good condition after work.
