Job summary

Allstaff Recruitment in Sheffield is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a full-time permanent role. The position offers 40 hours per week plus overtime and is based in Sheffield.

You will maintain and repair earthmoving equipment, perform servicing and fault-finding on heavy plant machinery. The role requires Mechanical and Electrical engineering experience, Heavy Plant or agriculture background, NVQ Level 3, a clean driving licence, and strong IT/diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanical and electrical engineering experience required.
• Heavy Plant or agriculture experience preferred.
• NVQ Level 3 in a related industry is required.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Strong IT skills with ability to run diagnostic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair work on earthmoving equipment.
• Carry out servicing, inspection and repair of earthmoving machinery.
• Diagnostic work and fault-finding.
• Assist with warranty claims processing.
• Escalate actions for damaged equipment.
• Coordinate with customers to understand and meet their requirements.
