Demob Job Ltd is recruiting for an established company specialising in critical power protection equipment. They seek a Field Service Engineer to cover the South of England, including Maidstone, with extensive UK travel and occasional overnight stays.

You will fault-find on electrical/electronic gear, read diagrams, complete service reports, and work independently with support as needed. A full UK driving licence and security checks required.

Competenze

• Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering as a minimum.
• Practical experience working with electrical and electronic equipment, including fault finding, maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience using electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Good IT skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to undertake specialist training and develop new skills.

Mansioni

• Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and repairs on specialist power protection equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults.
• Attend customer sites to investigate faults and carry out repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Work independently with technical support available from the wider engineering team.
• Participate in the callout rota following completion of training.
