Job summary

Demob Job Ltd. is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover the South of England with travel across the UK. You will service, maintain and repair power protection equipment, diagnose faults, and visit customer sites to investigate and fix issues.

Applicants should have a Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, practical fault-finding experience, and the ability to read electrical diagrams. A driving licence and willingness to travel are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience with electrical/electronic equipment, fault finding, maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience using electrical test equipment.
• Willingness to undertake specialist training and develop new skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the UK (including overnight stays).
• Willingness to work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends, and participate in the callout rota.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and repairs on specialist power protection equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults.
• Attend customer sites to investigate faults and carry out repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Work independently with technical support available from the wider engineering team.
• Participate in the callout rota following completion of training.
