Demob Job Ltd is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer covering the South of England. The role involves servicing and repairing critical power protection equipment, with a nationwide travel requirement and occasional overnight stays.

You will interpret electrical diagrams, complete reports, and work with the engineering team during callouts. The position offers a 37.5-hour week, an annual salary around £51,750 with a 15% shift allowance, overtime, and a fully expensed company vehicle.

Formación

• Hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering as a minimum.
• Practical experience working with electrical and electronic equipment, including fault finding, maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Experience using electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Good IT skills and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to undertake specialist training and develop new skills.
• Flexible approach to travel throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
• Willingness to work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends, and participate in the callout rota.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Willingness to undertake and pass security checks.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned servicing, maintenance and repairs on specialist power protection equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and electronic faults.
• Attend customer sites to investigate faults and carry out repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Work independently with technical support available from the wider engineering team.
• Participate in the callout rota following completion of training.
