Job summary

March is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our growing team in the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform installations, maintenance, and breakdown repairs on compressed air systems, while managing your own field workload.

You will service pumps, motors and related equipment, applying mechanical and electrical expertise. A full UK driving licence and a proactive approach to reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors or similar mechanical equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with a proactive approach to equipment reliability.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on compressed air systems and associated equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using a systematic fault-finding approach.
• Investigate equipment failures and identify root causes to minimise downtime.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance activities at customer sites.
• Inspect pumps, motors, compressors, blowers, valves and other rotating equipment.
• Complete equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning works.
• Accurately complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
