Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer to service and maintain industrial compressed air equipment across local and regional customer sites in the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance and provide detailed service reports while building strong customer relationships.

The role is field-based, with a competitive salary up to £45,000 plus overtime, a company vehicle, PPE, and a pension. A Full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with electromechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience servicing, maintaining or repairing industrial equipment, ideally with compressed air systems/compressors.
• Engineering qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships.
• Good report writing and administrative skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, fault finding, breakdown attendance and preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment and systems.
• Work closely with customers to diagnose issues, recommend improvements and ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Complete detailed service reports and remedial work recommendations.
