Job Role: Mobile Service Engineer (Agricultural/Horticultural Machinery)

Location:

Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire (accepting applications from surrounding counties)

Salary:

GBP30,000 - GBP42,000 base, OTE GBP45,000 - GBP50,000+ (Apply online only)

Hours:

Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 + up to 48 hours, anything over

The client:

Interaction Technical has partnered with a growing, market-leading dealer of Agricultural Engineering Equipment based in Gloucestershire to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to expansion, they are seeking an electromechanical field engineer in and around Cirencester to maintain, repair, and service agricultural machinery.

The package:

• 30 days holiday including bank holidays, increasing with service
• Overtime paid at 1.5X after 39 hours, and at 2X after 48 hours
• Plenty of overtime available throughout the year (average 15-20 hours per week)

The Duties:

1. Diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs on agricultural machinery (tractors, combiners, balers, etc.)
2. Travel to customer sites to perform maintenance and repairs to high standards
3. Conduct diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical faults
4. Work independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality documentation and solutions
5. Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
6. Liaise with clients to diagnose issues and propose solutions

The Requirements:

• Experience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)
• Experience in the agricultural industry (advantageous)
• Fault finding, repair, and servicing experience (advantageous)
• Experience with engines and batteries (advantageous)
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Driver's License
