Job Title: Field Service Engineer South East

Role Purpose: The Field Service Engineer supports the technical needs of Philips Imaging customers and service partners. You will work both independently and as part of a team to install, maintain, and repair advanced imaging equipment.

Location: This position is field-based in the South East area.

Responsibilities

1. Operate at an advanced technical level to provide expert advice and solutions to customers and colleagues.
2. Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and colleagues, following relevant training and experience.
3. Perform corrective, preventative, installation, and field change activities on healthcare systems.
4. Diagnose mechanical, hardware, and software system failures using established procedures.
5. Determine the most cost-effective repair solutions to minimize customer downtime.
6. Participate in an ongoing rotation with the Field Service Engineer team, providing remote support in a 5x7 working pattern.

You will be part of a regional team of collaborative Field Service Engineers, working to the highest standards to ensure first-class service while adhering to Quality & Regulatory standards. You will report directly to the District Service Delivery Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• HNC (NVQ Level 4) or Degree in Electro-engineering or equivalent (highly desirable).
• Logical problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience in corrective and preventative maintenance for Imaging Systems devices (desirable).
• Ability to process knowledge across multi-modality and diverse product ranges.
• Ability to recognize new technologies and adapt to daily challenges.
• High customer service orientation.
• Competent in IT/Network diagnosis, system connectivity, and remote service (desirable).
• Currently residing in the South West region, ideally around London or South East.
