CV Technical Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a team specialising in security equipment installation, servicing and maintenance. The role is primarily home-based with regular travel to customer sites across the South East and occasional overseas travel.

You will be responsible for on-site service visits, fault-finding, and reporting on tablet devices. The ideal candidate has an electrical, controls or mechanical engineering background with a time-served apprenticeship or

Formación

• Time-served apprenticeship in electrical, controls or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in field service or engineering; apprenticeship not strictly required.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail when completing service reports.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with installation, servicing and maintenance of security equipment.
• Attend customer sites for service visits, fault-finding and maintenance.
• Complete electronic service reports on a tablet/mobile.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings with training provided.
• Work independently and communicate with engineering team.
• Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota, including weekends/nights.
• Travel and overnight stays as required.
