First Military Recruitment Ltd is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll carry out maintenance, installations and reactive callouts on security products such as hydraulic bollards and road blockers, across the South of the UK with occasional international travel.

The role combines hands-on fieldwork with problem-solving and reporting; you’ll manage your daily schedule, maintain stock, produce service reports, and work independently or with others.

Formación

• Understanding of electrical systems and electronic circuits.
• Proactive, reliable, and self-sufficient approach to work.
• Good communication skills and professional attitude on-site.
• Ability to manage workload independently.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out planned maintenance, installations, and reactive callouts.
• Managing your daily schedule via the job planner, ensuring efficient travel and time management.
• Maintaining and organising your own stock of spare parts.
• Delivering a professional and confident service when liaising with customers.
• Producing clear and detailed service reports.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Working both independently and as part of a team.
• Participating in a callout rota and undertaking overtime when required.
