Job summary

Indra Group UK & Ireland is seeking Field Service Engineers to join its 24x7 Field Operations team on the TfL ticketing programme. This 12 Month FTC role covers installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of electrical, electronic and electromechanical equipment across Transport Operator sites and related locations.

You will work closely with the Field Service Coordinator and other technicians, providing hands-on support and escalation as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Installation, Electromechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Practical field service experience in electrical/electronic maintenance.
• Electrical/electronic fault-finding capability.
• Ability to use diagnostic and test equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently while recognising when technical escalation is required.
• Willingness to learn new equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote field maintenance support.
• Respond to equipment incidents and maintenance requirements across locations.
• Perform fault investigation and diagnosis appropriate to competence.
• Carry out planned maintenance and replacements.
• Maintain records and update work orders.
• Ensure safety and site-access compliance.
• Collaborate with Field Service Coordinator and peers.
• Participate in shift, out-of-hours and on-call duties.
