Our client specializes in selling new and used machinery for the Construction and Industrial industries, aiming to provide the highest level of product support for these machines.

Core Hours: 40 hours per week, from 08:00 to 16:30. On-call rota of one in eight weeks.

Main Purpose of the Role

This role involves diagnostics, servicing, and repairs of construction, agricultural, industrial, heavy line, and recycling equipment within the dealership territory, serving both new and existing customers.

This is a customer-facing position requiring strong relationship-building skills within the service sector. You will promote our organization and brand, offer service solutions, and liaise with manufacturers to deliver world-class customer service.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, positive relationships with customers
• Gather and document knowledge about the customer's company and technical operations
• Provide feedback on important customer information
• Promote the organization and brand to new and existing customers
• Carry out repairs to the highest standards to ensure first-time fix success
• Utilize technical diagnostics skills on laptops
• Operate PDA units to input job information accurately
• Participate in ongoing training and development
• Service and maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• Enhance the company's market profile
• Maintain a professional image and deliver world-class customer service

Minimum Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 in plant engineering, servicing, and maintenance
• Knowledge of the plant industry or a similar field
• Experience with hydraulic systems, transmissions, electrical systems, and machinery repairs
• Ability to work remotely as a technical specialist with industry experience
• Strong technical knowledge and certification portfolio
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs
• Clean driving license and proof of right to work in the UK
