Job summary

Generator Power, the UK's largest privately owned generator rental company, is expanding and seeks a Field Service Engineer based in the Midlands, reporting to the new Warwick depot. You will carry out planned service and maintenance on hire fleet and customers' equipment.

The role offers a Monday to Friday 40-hour week (8:00–17:00) with overtime rates, a company vehicle and company mobile, and weekly pay. You will fault locate, diagnose, install and commission on-site power, and complete all

Qualifications

• Experienced with generators/plant equipment or heavy engineering.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned service and maintenance on hire fleet and customers' equipment.
• Fault location, diagnosis and rectification on hire fleet and customers' equipment.
• Preparation of equipment for hire.
• Installation and disconnection of equipment on site (Synchronizing where appropriate).
• Installation and commissioning of power to temporary site accommodation (Wiring in where appropriate).
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Carry out duties on a call-out rota system.
• Completion and submission of all company paperwork as per procedure.
• Safeguard all Company assets; nothing leaves the depot without correct paperwork.

Generator Power has experienced rapid growth in recent years and is undergoing further expansion, providing an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Engineer based in the Midlands area but reporting to our brand new depot in Warwick

• Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week, 8:00AM - 17:00PM + overtime rates

• Carry out planned service and maintenance work on both hire fleet and customers' equipment.
• Fault location, diagnosis and rectification to hire fleet and customers' equipment.
