Job summary

Shillito Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support blue-chip customers across aerospace, automotive, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors. The role involves regular international travel and hands-on work with CNC and machine tools, electrical and mechanical fault finding, and on-site servicing.

You will diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment, while leveraging experience with automated machinery and PLCs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, or Field Engineer.
• Strong fault finding experience across Electrical and Mechanical systems.
• Confident working on breakdowns and solving problems independently.
• Some exposure to PLC fault finding is highly desirable.
• Experience with automated machinery, CNC, robotics or similar equipment.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings and working methodically.

An excellent opportunity for a motivated Field Service Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly established machine tool specialist supporting blue-chip customers across aerospace, automotive, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

This role requires regular International and European travel.
