Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain CNC machine tools across customer sites. You will diagnose electrical, electronic and CNC control faults and service equipment on a nationwide basis within the UK.

The role requires travel to client sites and a full UK driving licence, offering in-house training, clear overtime structures and a competitive package reflecting experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel to client sites throughout the UK.

Salary: Up to £55,000 (OTE) + In‑House Training + Overtime + Paid Travel (D2D) + Early Finish Friday + Enhanced Pension (8%) + Private Healthcare + Quarterly Bonus

Overview

Join a well‑established CNC Machine Tool specialist with over 20 years of industry experience, supplying, installing and servicing advanced CNC machinery for clients across aerospace, automotive, medical, oil & gas and heavy engineering sectors.

The Role

• Install, commission, service, and repair CNC machine tools on customer sites.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and CNC control faults.
• Work with a variety of CNC controls including Heidenhain, Siemens, and Fanuc.
