Job summary

Field Service Engineer role covering Northampton and Milton Keynes with UK travel. You'll service, repair and calibrate laboratory equipment including centrifuges, incubators, freezers, ovens and water baths.

Full product training is provided and you’ll join an established team to plan workloads and schedule customer visits. The package includes base salary around £32,000 with realistic OTE £40,000–£45,000, a £2,000 car allowance, and bonuses for extra hours and spare parts; 25 days holiday and

Qualifications

• Experience in service, repair and calibration of lab equipment.
• Electro-mechanical background.
• Willing to travel across the UK and stay overnight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service, repair, and calibration work to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, freezers, ovens and water baths.
• Plan workload and arrange appointments directly with customers.
• Focus on client sites in Northampton/Milton Keynes with further travel across the UK.
• Occasional overnight away.

Field Service Engineer required for an industry leading service provider to the medical and laboratory industries offering training.

This role would suit candidates from any electro:mechanical background as full product related training will be provided.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out service, repair, and calibration work to laboratory equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, freezers etc. You will be joining an existing team of six engineers who cover customer sites in the UK. Candidates may be required to travel further afield and occasionally stay overnight to support the wider team as needed.
