Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Power Generation) to join a leading renewable energy provider. You will service, maintain and repair CHP and gas engine systems across a regional footprint.

Based in Bedford, you will travel to client sites Monday to Friday, with a base salary of £37,000–£38,750 plus overtime and a comprehensive benefits package, including vehicle and pension, with progression into senior technical roles.

Qualifications

• Experience with 450kW+ equipment.
• Experience as a Service/Maintenance Engineer.
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ/HNC or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and breakdowns.
• Working on CHP, GAS Engines and renewable energy systems.
• Electrical fault finding and repairs (ComAp, three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Customer facing role.
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory.
