Job summary

Right Now Group are partnering with an International Software client in the Manchester region to recruit a Field Service Engineer. The role covers field-based maintenance, installation, and commissioning, with full training provided and a company van.

4-on/4-off 12-hour shifts, location: Manchester field-based. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in field service, mechanical/electrical knowledge, and a valid full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Field Service Engineering or Technician role.
• Mechanical or electrical knowledge with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Ability to work on customer sites and install/commission equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out remedial maintenance initiated by customer requests for service as directed.
• Partake in machine installations and commissioning as required.
• Ensure all technical documentation is kept available and up to date.
• Promote Best Practise in duties and maintain service standards.
• Complete work dockets and reports as part of service procedures.
• Assist in maintaining organisational charts for customers for networking.
• Assist in producing weekly and monthly reports.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Weekly Hours: 4 on 4 off – 12 hour shifts

Role Description

• Carry out Remedial Maintenanceinitiated by customer requests for service as directed
