Pioneer Selection Ltd is recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover customer sites across the South of England, with a focus on installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of industrial equipment. The role is based around Oxford with travel across the South of England and a Monday–Friday dayshift.

The position offers a £51,000 basic salary, door-to-door overtime with earnings potential of £55,000+, a company van, ongoing training and clear career progression within a growing

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
• Experience working in automated environments (Manufacturing or Industrial).
• Engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 or equivalent).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Must live within a 40-mile radius of Reading.
• Willingness to travel across the South of England.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair industrial equipment at customer sites across the South of England.
• Provide first-class service and responsive support to customers.
• Cover Field Service tasks with door-to-door overtime when required.

Job Role - Field Service Engineer

Essential Requirements of the Field Service Engineer

• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical and mechanical systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Flexible approach to travel and occasional overtime

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or automated machinery
• PLC fault-finding experience
• Installation and commissioning experiencePrevious experience working within manufacturing, industrial, packaging or material handling environments
