Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is recruiting a Service Engineer to service, inspect, install and repair at customer sites across the UK. The role is hands-on, often physically demanding, and requires reliable, practical individuals who can work independently on the road.

Full training is provided and prior engineering experience is not essential. You will visit schools and other sites, perform servicing and safety checks, document work, and contribute to a professional on-site presence with autonomy

Qualifications

• Practical, hands-on individual confident using tools.
• Willing to travel nationwide and visit multiple sites.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physically fit for on-site work and manual handling.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Training provided; engineering or technical experience helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to carry out servicing and safety checks.
• Carry out minor repairs and adjustments, including part replacements.
• Complete installations, repairs and servicing to a consistent standard.
• Identify faults and resolve issues on-site.
• Complete service documentation and record work.
• Perform quality and safety checks after work.
• Manage daily schedules and travel independently.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Feed back recurring issues to the wider team.

Job description

We're recruiting a Service Engineer to carry out on-site servicing, inspections, installations and repairs across customer locations. While this is not a highly technical engineering role, it is hands-on, physically demanding at times, and requires someone reliable, practical and comfortable working independently on the road.

Full training is provided, and previous direct experience is not essential. What matters most is a strong practical mindset, confidence using tools, and the ability to manage your own workload while representing the company professionally on-site.

What you'll be doing

• Visiting customer sites, including schools, to carry out servicing and safety checks
• Carrying out minor repairs and adjustments, including replacing parts and maintaining moving mechanisms
• Completing installations, repairs and servicing to a consistent standard
• Identifying faults and resolving issues efficiently while on-site
• Completing service documentation and recording work carried out
• Carrying out quality and safety checks following work completion
• Working independently, managing daily schedules and travel
• Following health & safety procedures at all times
• Feeding back recurring issues or product faults to the wider team

What we're looking for

Salary is fixed within the current structure and consistent across the team
