Job summary

Atlas Copco in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and troubleshoot a range of technical equipment at customer sites, ensuring systems run efficiently. This hands-on role is varied and field-based, with on‑site customer liaison, service visits, on‑call duties and mentoring of apprentices, all while upholding high health and safety standards.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel are required, with ongoing learning and development

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a hands-on environment.
• Excellent communication with customers and ability to build relationships.
• Good organisation and time management across multiple jobs.
• Commitment to safety and following procedures.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and overnight stays when required.

Your role

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our growing Service Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of technical equipment at customer sites.

You’ll work closely with customers to ensure their systems are running efficiently, providing expert support and building strong working relationships along the way. This is a hands‑on, varied role where no two days are the same, perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving and working in the field.
