Job summary

Clear-Engineering-Recruitment is seeking a mechanical bias engineer in Bolton for a renewable power generation company. You will service, maintain and troubleshoot CHP systems, gas engines and renewables, covering a UK territory.

The package includes £37,000–£38,750 basic, overtime with OTE £60K+, a vehicle and progression opportunities. You should have NVQ/HNC or equivalent and be experienced with 450KW+ equipment, three-phase electrical systems, drives, motors, and PLCs, working in field

Qualifications

• NVQ/HNC or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• Experience as Service/ Maintenance Engineer in energy or marine sectors preferred.
• Experience with CHP, gas engines, renewables is required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdowns of CHP, gas engines and renewable energy systems.
• Work on electrical fault finding and repairs (three phase, drives, motors, PLC).
• Monday to Friday covering surrounding territory.

• Familiar with CHP, Gas Engines, Generators, Industrial Plant or similar
• Experience as a Service Engineer/ Maintenance Engineer/ Marine Engineer
• Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC or equivalent)
