Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer for our client operating across industrial environments. The role involves installation, service, fault-finding, and planned maintenance on a variety of equipment at customer sites, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

The position offers dayshift Monday to Friday, a salary in the £35,000–£40,000 range with OTE £60,000+, and a company vehicle. Driving is essential for daily travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled electrical and mechanical engineering experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Hands-on maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Experience in fault-finding and reactive/planned maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, fault-find and perform planned preventive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment at multiple customer sites.
• Ensure high levels of reliability and customer satisfaction through proactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repair work to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with customers and colleagues to schedule visits and report on service activities.

Location: Goole | Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 | OTE: £60,000 + | Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)

Overview

A fantastic opportunity for a strong Field Service Engineer to join a well‑established and growing business that delivers engineering solutions across a wide range of industrial environments. The role offers variety, autonomy, and hands‑on work on different customer sites.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out installation, service, fault‑finding and planned preventive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment across multiple customer sites, ensuring high levels of reliability and customer satisfaction.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Multi‑skilled engineering experience (electrical and mechanical)
• Full UK driving licence
• Hands‑on experience with reactive and planned maintenance on industrial equipment

Requirements

• Strong electrical fault‑finding experience
• Experience working on motors, drives, pumps and associated equipment
• Mechanical skills including alignment, measuring and shimming
• Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working with variable speed drives (VSDs), ideally Danfoss systems
• Previous field service or mobile engineering experience
