Pioneer Selection is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover customer sites across the South of England, based near Wanborough, Swindon. The role involves installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment with a focus on delivering a first-class service.

Non-negotiable requirements include a relevant engineering qualification (Level 3+), a full UK driving licence, and the ability to travel. Training, career progression and a company van are among the benefits.

Qualifications

Job Role - Field Service Engineer

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Field Service Engineer (Must Have)

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer

• Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background

• Experience working in automated environment (Manufacturing or Industrial)

• Engineering qualification (minimum Level 3 or equivalent)

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Must live within a 40-mile radius of Reading

• Willingness to travel across the South of England

Essential Requirements of the Field Service Engineer

• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills on electrical and mechanical systems

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

• Good understanding of health and safety procedures

• Flexible approach to travel and occasional overtime

Desirable Requirements

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics or automated machinery

• PLC fault-finding experience

• Installation and commissioning experience

• Previous experience working within manufacturing, industrial, packaging or material handling environments
