Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a Goole-based role. You will install, service and fault‑find on a range of industrial equipment across multiple customer sites, with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Dayshift, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities. The successful candidate will have multi‑skilled electrical and mechanical engineering experience, a full UK driving licence, and hands‑on maintenance capability in industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineering experience (electrical and mechanical).
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Hands-on experience with reactive and planned maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience working on motors, drives, pumps and associated equipment.
• Industrial/manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, fault-finding and planned preventive maintenance on industrial equipment across multiple sites.
• Ensure high levels of reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Work across different customer sites with minimal supervision.

Field Service Engineer

Location: Goole

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE: £60,000+)

Shift: Days (Monday to Friday)

Sector: Industrial Engineering / Field Service

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for carrying out installation, service, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance on a range of industrial equipment across multiple customer sites, ensuring high levels of reliability and customer satisfaction.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

• Multi‑skilled engineering experience (electrical and mechanical)
• Full UK driving licence
• Hands‑on experience with reactive and planned maintenance on industrial equipment

Requirements

• Strong electrical fault‑finding experience
• Experience working on motors, drives, pumps, and associated equipment
• Mechanical skills including alignment, measuring and shimming
• Experience working within an industrial or manufacturing environment

Desirable Requirements

• Experience working with variable speed drives (VSDs), ideally Danfoss systems
• Previous field service or mobile engineering experience
