Job summary

Playtech ECM Systems in the UK is seeking a motivated Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and support IT-based gaming systems across venues nationwide with occasional travel to Europe. You will work independently, travel frequently, and engage directly with customers to solve technical issues.

The role requires driving across the UK, flexible hours, and strong troubleshooting skills. A comprehensive training package (PASMA, MEWP, Working at Height, etc.) is provided along with tools and

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence and eligible to be insured on company fleet vehicles.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including regular overnight stays.
  • Flexible approach to working hours (early starts, evenings, occasional weekends).
  • Basic IT knowledge including networking.
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Previous field service, installation, or technical roles with training provided.
  • Experience or knowledge of the UK bingo, casino, or gaming industry.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, support and maintain IT-based gaming systems.
  • Manage wireless/LAN networks, servers, tablet PCs, and software updates.
  • Assist customers with training and support; maintain documentation and site diagrams.
  • Conduct site surveys, plan work with Head of Delivery, and resolve technical issues.
  • Represent ECM Systems professionally on-site and deliver excellent customer service.

Playtech’sECMSystems is looking for a motivated and technically curious Field Service Engineerto join our growing delivery team. Do you want to play a key role installing, maintaining, and supporting IT based gaming systems at customer sites across the entire UK, with occasional travel to Europe? This is a hands-on, varied rolesuited to someone who enjoys working independently, travelling, solving technical problems, and engaging directly with customers.

Job Description

Be responsible for the installation, commissioning, support, and maintenance of a diverse range of IT-based gaming systems, including:

  • Wireless and LAN networks (including the structured cabling
  • Servers and associated hardware
  • Tablet PCs and charging stations
  • Software updates (with guidance from in-house specialists where required)
  • Assist customers with training and support

Have additional responsibilities including:

  • Carrying out routine and preventative maintenance
  • Conducting site surveys ahead of installations
  • Planning upcoming work in coordination with the Head of Delivery
  • Fact-finding/understanding problems and working closely with the support team to resolve technical issues
  • Consistently represent ECM Systems professionally on-site whilst delivering excellent customer service
Qualifications
  • A full, UK driving licensce and eligible to be insured on company fleet vehicles
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, including regular overnight stays
  • A flexible approach to working hours (early starts, evenings, and occasional weekends)
  • Basic understanding of IT including networking knowledge
  • Strong technical and troubleshooting experience
  • A confident, professional and personable, even whilst under pressure
  • Use of MS office to produce basic technical documentation and site diagrams
  • Comfortability working independently and can use your own initiative to overcome unexpected problems
  • Previous experience in field service, installation, or technical roles (full training is provided)
  • Experience or prior knowledge of the UK bingo, casino, or gaming industry
