Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Business Systems Application Engineer to support and evolve its vast enterprise application ecosystem. You will troubleshoot complex incidents, guide users through technical challenges and work across hybrid environments to deliver platform performance.

You will act as SME for key toolsets, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and ensure security and compliance across on-premise, SaaS and cloud-hosted apps. This role includes on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong SaaS and cloud-based enterprise systems experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving across complex apps.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, upgrades, and integrations.
• Proven stakeholder management across technical and operational teams.
• Judicious decision-making for incidents and risk assessment.
• Understanding of vendor management and SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical escalation point for internal teams on system-related issues and deployments.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key toolsets and architectural improvements.
• Maintain and support a wide range of on-premise, SaaS and cloud-hosted applications.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical incidents to maintain high service availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to design and integrate new solutions.
• Oversee testing and deployment of software patches and upgrades to ensure security and compliance.

Ready to power the tech behind a global operation? As a Business Systems Application Engineer, you will support and evolve our vast enterpriseapplicationecosystem.

Business Systems Solutions delivers bespoke and 3rd party solutions that drive operational efficiency,scalabilityand technical resilience across the enterprise. The teamleveragescutting-edgeplatforms to integrate, automate and optimise key business workflows.

You will support a diverse portfolio of applications and guide users through critical technical challenges. Working across hybrid environments, you will perform in-depth root cause analysis, troubleshoot complexissuesand collaborate directly with internal teams and external vendors to deliver seamless platform performance. In this role, you will provide an on-callcapability as part of a rota, to support key applications out of hours.

This role is eligible for inclusion in our hybrid work from home policy.

Qualifications

• Proventrack recordsupporting SaaS, cloud-basedarchitecturesand enterprisesystems
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving capability across complex application environments
• Practical knowledge of application lifecycle management, including upgrades,patchesand system integration
• Demonstrated stakeholder management skills across diverse technical and operational disciplines
• Sound technical judgement when resolving critical incidents and assessing system risks
• Solid understanding of vendor management principles and 3rd party service level agreements

• Utilising AI to provide solutions and suggest improvements
