Job summary

CV Technical Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to work primarily from home with regular site visits across the UK. You will conduct site surveys, read electrical and mechanical drawings, and complete electronic service call sheets on tablets, compiling detailed reports.

The role involves staying away occasionally, weekends and some night work, and on-call rotas: South East 1 in 6; North and Midlands 1 in 4.

Qualifications

• Preferably time served in electrical / controls / mechanical apprenticeship.
• Candidate with previous field service / engineering experience would be considered if no apprenticeship.
• Be self-motivated to work individually but adaptable to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and compile detailed reports.
• Complete electronic service call sheets on a tablet/phone on every visit.
• Travel to sites for field service duties; weekends and night work as required.
• Respond to on-call rotas: South East 1 in 6; North and Midlands 1 in 4.

The ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings, although full training will be provided for our specific requirements.

Some foreign travel may be available but not compulsory.

Generally this role is home based but some staying away will be required for this role. especially in the Northen Team.

Weekends and occasional night working will form part of this role.

Call Out Rota North and Midlands 1 in 4

Experience/Skills/Quals:
