Job summary

Oyster Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Service Engineer with experience in motors, pumps, plumbing, electrical systems and electronic control systems. You will join our service team to deliver flexible service to our client base.

You will be responsible for fault finding on electro-mechanical devices in a field-based role, with training provided on the equipment. An on-call rota of about 1 in 6 weeks and a CRB/DBS background check are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Min. technical qualification: National Certificate/City and Guilds or equivalent.
• Experience with fault finding, diagnostics and maintenance of electromechanical equipment in a field-based role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent communicator both written and verbally.
• Ability to prioritise own workload, work to deadlines and deal with conflicting work pressures.
